Hailing from a small town himself, Ali swears by the power of education in transforming lives. He has been extremely passionate about impacting lives through education. Incidentally, his education at LSE itself had a far-reaching impact on him. The exposure to technology at LSE completely enthralled him. He envisioned the power of technology in reforming the Indian Education ecosystem which has been largely afflicted by inadequate physical infrastructure (schools, colleges & educational institutions) and scarcity of skilled educators. The seed of thought of leveraging technology to create disruption in Indian education space was sown in his mind. After his Masters at LSE, Ali went on to join Accenture as a Consultant in their London office. However, the idea of an ed-tech venture kept growing stronger. He had had his calling. After a short, yet highly valuable stint at Accenture, he moved to India to launch Genext Students with his cousin and co-founder Asad Daud.
