Adaptive icons will be supported in the launcher, shortcuts, sharing dialog, device settings and the app overview screen. Android Oreo including the restricted mode which helps in finding out the bugs and also allow users to restrict the background activities for several applications, which helps in saving phone’s memory. Android O provides users with quick setting section which let developers to modify the setting easily. As with Nougat, several clips have to activate and deactivate a setting, like the flashlight, Battery Saver or Airplane Mode. But others, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Do Not Disturb, provide access to a mini menu so you can make slight changes without leaving the Quick Settings area. You can rearrange the order of the Quick Settings, which will be reflected at the top of the notifications areas and long-pressing an icon still takes you to the full Settings menu. Now the User, Edit and Settings icons have now migrated to the bottom of the Quick Settings area for easier access on large-screened devices.

Easy Accessing Location

Although Android Marshmallow introduced run-time permissions, still it is hard to find all the apps accessing a particular permission. Android Oreo having functionalities which are very useful and provide ease accessibility over the features. However, there is a change with Android O but just for location permission. Android O lets you view all the apps that have access to your location. The shortcut for the same is located inside the Location settings. One can easily access the locations.
