FirstCry Buys BabyOye for Rs 362 Cr in Cash & Stock Deal
eCommerce portal for infant care products, FirstCry, is acquiring BabyOye’s franchise from Mahindra Retail for Rs 362 crore in cash and stock. The split of the deal will comprise Rs.354.6 crore worth of stock and Rs.7.5 crore in cash.
FirstCry, which was founded by Supam Maheshwari in 2010, has also raised Rs 226 crore in fresh investment. Mahindra Group had acquired BabyOye in January 2015, and merged it with its Mom & Me franchise. Read More
