Logistics Startup Pickrr Secures Pre-Series A

New Delhi-based first mile logistics startup Pickrr has secured an undisclosed amount in Pre-Series A round of investment. The investment was made by Hong Kong-based VC firm Swastika and a few HNI investors. It had raised an undisclosed amount in seed round in November 2015.

It was founded by Rhitiman Majumder, Gaurav Mangla, Ankit Kaushik and Ronak Agrawal in August 2015. It claims to be fulfilling 6000 orders per day. Read More

Food Ordering Platform Box8 Raises Rs 50Cr in Series B

Mumbai-based food delivery platform, Box8, has secured Rs 50 crore in Series B round of investment. The round was led by IIFL Seed Ventures Fund and existing investor Mayfield Fund. It has operations in Mumbai, Pune and Bangalore.

It was founded in July 2012, by Amit Raj and Anshul Gupta as Poncho, but was later rebranded to Box8 in January 2014. It claims to be delivering 12,000 meals/day. Read More

Hyderabad-based online interior designing startup, Foyr (earlier knows as Renderlogy), has raised an undisclosed amount, property consultancy firm Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) India. The realty tech startup leverages AR & VR technologies to provide interior design solutions.

It was founded in March 2014 by Shailesh Goswami. It had raised $1 million in investment from Astarc Ventures in May 2015. Read More

Gurgaon-based online pathology test laboratory aggregator, Healthians, has secured Rs 20 crore in a fresh round of investment from Japan-based BeeNext and Digital Garage.

The investment would be used for expanding to other metro cities in India. Healthians was founded by Deepak Sahni in 2014, and has raised about Rs 23 crore till date. Read More

Bangalore-based personal wealth management app startup Fisdom, has secured $1.1 million from Saama Capital. It had previously raised $500,000 in angel investment in January 2016.

Bangalore-based online furniture rental marketplace, Furlenco, has secured a sum of $30 million in Series B round, involving debt + equity investment. It has raised $15 million of equity investment, led by Lightbox Ventures and Axis Capital. And $15 million in debt, from banks, NBFCs, individuals and family offices.
