Bangalore & US-based big data analysis firm, Impact Analytics, has raised $750,000 in investment. The round was led by Prashant Agrawal, and saw participation from serial entrepreneur Michael Herzig and Ashish Lakhanpal, CEO, Kismet Capital.

Chennai-based logistics firm FR8 has raised about $971,000 from Omnivore Partners. It offers long-haul truck solutions to enterprises, including agricultural & F&B firms. It was founded in 2016 by Vasanth Immanuel and Jayendran Panneerselvam, and claims to book close to Rs 2.5 crore worth orders per month. Read More

Ather Energy Secures Rs 180 Cr from Hero MotoCorp

Bangalore-based electric vehicle maker Ather Energy has closed Rs 180 crore from Hero MotoCorp against a 26%-30% stake. The total size of the deal is Rs 205 crore, out of which the first tranche has been received. Prior to this round the firm had closed Rs 81 crore in investment till date from investors including Flipkart founders and Tiger Global.

Ather Energy was founded in 2013 by Tarun Mehta and Swapnil Jain. It is soon going to launch its first product S340. Read More

Bangalore-based healthcare startup Idea Bubbles has raised Rs 4.5 crore in investment from 1Crowd, Eureka Forbes Ltd, and Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Ltd. It offers tele-consultation services, including with cloud solutions to store medical records.

It was founded in 2014 by Gururaj Potni, and claims to have nearly 12,000 patients and 600 doctors on its platform. Read More
