FabAlley Raises $2M in Series A

Delhi-based online private label retailer, FabAlley, has secured $2 million in Series A round of investment led by India Quotient. It saw participation from a group of angel investors. The company had raised seed investment from IAN investors in November 2013.

FabAlley was founded in 2012 by Shivani Poddar and Tanvi Malik. It had started a private label eCommerce firm, and within a short span it opened up offline stores as well. Read More

Lending Platform ZipLoan Raises Seed Round Led by GrowX

Delhi-based online lending platform for SMBs, ZipLoan, has raised an undisclosed amount of investment in seed round led by GrowX Ventures. The round saw participation from Angel investor Sunil Kalra; Arun Venkatachalam of Murugappa Group; ex-Snapdeal executive Badal Malick and one of the investors in Pi Ventures.

The NBFC was launched in September 2015 by Kshitij Puri and Shalabh Singhal. It offers loans of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh to SMBs for over a period of 6-24 months. Read More

Women’s Health Tracker App Maya Raises Investment

Bengaluru–based women’s health tracker app Maya has raised an undisclosed amount from Rajan Anandan, Vice President, Google, Southeast Asia and India. It had raised a seed round worth Rs 5 crore from Prime Venture Partners in March 2016. The app helps women to keep a track of their menstruation cycles. Maya was founded in 2012 by John Paul. It claims to have over 1.2 million active users from across the globe. Read More

Campsite Aggregation Platform Deyor Camps Raises $500K

Gurgaon-based campsite aggregation portal, Deyor Camps, has raised $500,000 from a group of investors including Rajesh Arora, Nitin Passi, Manickam Mahalingam, Udaan Angels and Arkas Industries. The firm had raised another undisclosed round in July 2016 from Travel Boutique Online, soon after its incorporation.

Deyor Camps website was however launched in January 2016 by Dheeraj Jain, Chirag Gupta, Himanshu Agarwal, Aakaar Gandhi and Gautam Yadav. The same team also runs budget hotel aggregation platform Deyor Rooms, which was founded in July 2015. Read More
