Indore-based outstation taxi rental marketplace, InstaCar, has raised $1 million in seed round of investment from Hong Kong-based Swastika Co Ltd. The company was registered in August 2016, and counts Ishan Vyas, Priyaanshi Choubey and Anurag Gupta as its founders. The website however has been operational since the beginning of 2016. Read More

Ahmedabad-based eCommerce portal for men’s grooming products, Beardo, has raised $500,000. The round saw participation from a group of angels including – Raj Vazirani of RHV enterprise; Siddharth Somaiya of Godavari Biorefineries & Somaiya Group; Anuj Golecha and Apoorv Ranjan Sharma, co-founders of Venture Catalysts, among others. Noida-based FinTech startup InMotion has secured an undisclosed amount of investment from 1mg’s Founders Prashant Tandon and Gaurav Agarwal, and a group of other angels including Gaurav Bhogle, Product Marketing Manager, Google Maps; Shrishti Sahu, Director, Aqaya; Shantanu Mathur, Country Head, Knowlarity Cloud Telephony and existing angel investor Prabhat Aggarwal. The investment is a part of Pre-Series A round which is still open.

Chennai based SaaS startup Cloudcherry has raised $6 million in Series A round of investment. The round was led by Vertex Ventures and Cisco Investments, with participation from existing investor IDG Ventures India. The firm provides enterprises with an analytics tool to measure customer engagement using different metrics. The investment would be deployed for international expansion.
