Manish Singhal & Umakant Soni Float Pi Ventures to Back Tech Startups
LetsVenture Founder Manish Singhal & entrepreneur Umakant Soni are floating an early stage venture fund called Pi Ventures. Both have invested in different startups at an individual level.
The size of the fund hasn’t been disclosed, however the venture has other investors like Infoedge’s Sanjeev Bhikhchandani; GigSky’s CPO Raghu Tarra and Angel investor Bhupen Shah among others. The fund is looking to invest in AI led startups which can go global. Read More
Axilor Ventures Seeks to Invest in 15 Startups
Axilor Ventures is looking to invest in 12-15 startups which are looking to raise Pre-Series A or Series A. The fund is looking for startups in cities other than Delhi and Bangalore.
The venture fund makes investments under three programmes – early stage, scale up and accelerator.
In early stage it invests in the range of Rs.75 lakh to Rs.3 crore; in scale up programme it invests Rs.25 lakh with support in scaling up. The accelerator programme is of 100 days, at the end of which it backs startups with an investment of Rs.25 lakh.
Axilor Ventures was founded by Kris Gopalakrishnan, S D Shibulal, Tarun Khanna, Srinath Batni and Ganapathy Venugopal. Read More
