BookYourGame Raises Angel Funds

Fitness start-up BookYourGame, which lets users book fitness centres for sessions without a membership. The company has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a round led by Sanjay Verma, former chief executive officer (CEO), Cushman & Wakefield, Asia Pacific, and Amit Khanna, managing partner, Antuit-Europe.

BookYourGame, run by Bookyourgym Fitness Pvt. Ltd, was launched by two former Goldman Sachs employees in February this year, and plans to use the funds for marketing expenses. Users can book classes and sessions at fitness centres near them, with the sessions being priced between Rs.50 and Rs.400. The firm also sells a software-as-a-service solution for fitness providers that helps them engage with their members, and gives access to data and analytics. Qonfuse Raises Seed Funding

Delhi based Indian Edtech startup, Qonfuse,  has raised seed funding from Hamraj Kumar, founder of CureInstant (Medical technology startup). Financials of the deal have not been disclosed yet. With the raised funding, Qonfuse plans to develop better technology along with spending money on branding and marketing of the product.

Qonfuse is an education technology website which lets the users take practice test for various competitive exams in India including SBI Clerk, SBI PO, IBPS Clerk, IBPS PO, CAT, GATE, LIC, NICL AO, RRB. The Indian Iris Raises Angel Funding

The Indian Iris, a policy research and consulting startup that focuses on analysing and simplifying government policies and schemes, has raised an angel investment from Ahmedabad based Timbru Ventures, a fund that supports aspiring entrepreneurs with promising ideas.

The company aims to become the most preferred source of information on policies and schemes by center and state governments in India. They will cover both welfare and business policies and schemes.The Indian Iris was founded a year ago with support from Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM Ahmedabad. It is founded by the passionate alumni of IIT Roorkee, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIIT Bangalore.
