Niki.ai Raises Investment from Ratan Tata & Unilazer Ventures
Bangalore-headquartered AI based app startup Niki.ai has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a follow up seed round from Ratan N. Tata, Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, and existing investor Unilazer Ventures. The company leverages the technology of natural language processing and machine learning to converse with the customers over a chatbot and places their orders within seconds with the partner businesses.
It was founded in April 2015 by four IIT Kharagpur Alumni – Sachin Jaiswal, Keshav Prawasi, Nitin Babel and Shishir Modi. It offers bill payments, cab booking, recharge, food ordering, home services, cricket scores etc.

Bangalore based co-working space BHiVE Workspace has raised $1 million in a round led by Blume Ventures. The firm operates in 4 locations in the city and has close to 800 members. BHiVE was founded in November 2014 by Shesh Paplikar, Ravindra M.K and Monnappa Bayavanda.
The company had raised an undisclosed amount of money in angel round from Raghunandan G.
