EduRev Raises Pre-Series A Round of Funding

Gurgaon-based ed-tech startup- EduRev has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a Pre-Series A round from Pradeep Reddy Kamasan, who is part of Hyderabad Angels group.

EduRev is an educational network connecting students and teachers with courses and learning material. The company was founded by Kunaal Satija More than 40,000 students have already joined the EduRev network platform containing over 100 courses and 70,000 plus documents, videos and tests. Fintech Startup Goalwise Raises $1M in Funding from a Group of Investors

Alphafront Finserv Pvt. Ltd, which runs online investment platform Goalwise, has raised $1 million from a group of high net-worth individuals.

Founded by Swapnil Bhaskar, Savitri Bobde and Ankur Choudhary, Bangalore-based Goalwise runs on its self-designed algorithms for investment advisory, mutual fund selection, as well as a goal tracking technology called GoalSense. Read more.

Pune-based medical technology startup Arcatron Mobility Pvt Ltd – focused on personal mobility devices and eldercare technology products, has raised $100K in its bridge round, led by Vaibhav Kulkarni, CEO of Anandakanda.

Founded in June 2015 by Laxmikant Banjarey, Kunal Kamble, Ganesh Sonawane and Dewaj Baruah, Arcatron is a hardware startup which aims to re-invent assisted living technology focussed on the elderly and the locomotor-challenged. Eatonomist, an online platform that delivers meals prepared at its kitchens, has raised an undisclosed amount in seed investment from MCube Capital Advisors Pvt Ltd. Founded in November 2014 by Anisha Dhar and Nupur Khanna, Eatonomist follows a full-stack business model wherein it controls the kitchens and delivery services. Since its inception, the startup claims to have profiled stories of nearly 10,000 inspiring women, who are entrepreneurs, authors, game-changers, sportswomen, corporate executives among others.
