SaaS Platform Logfuze Raises $250k From Siva Ramanathan

Chennai: LogFuze, SaaS platform, has raised $250,000 in seed funding from angel investor Siva Ramanathan. Founded by Venkadesan Velu and TK Gayathri in October 2013, the Chennai-based company is a cloud-based machine data analytics platform. The startup was later launched in the US in July 2014. Ramanathan, a seed investor, works in NetApp, US. He has more than 15 years of experience and has worked with other companies like Pfizer, CSC, Wipro Infotech and STIC in past.

Mukesh Bansal Backs Fitness Startup Cult

Bangalore: Bangalore-based fitness startup, Cult, has raised an undisclosed amount of funds from Myntra’s Co-Founder Mukesh Bansal. Founded in 2015 by Rishabh Telang and Deepak Poduval, the startup offers training programmes without using traditional gym equipment. It offers It contains a boxing rings, jump ropes, boxing bags, tyres/hammer, speed chutes, resistance bands, and plyometric boxes.

San Francisco: Meadow, on demand medical marijuana delivery platform, has raised $2.1 million on rolling basis to develop marijuana sales software with participation from ex SV Angel David Lee, YCombinator’s Justin Kan, Reddit’s Steve Huffman, Kissmetrics’ Hiten Shah, Slow Ventures, SOMA Capital and Poseidon Asset Management. The funds will be used to built weed-friendly alternatives like QuickBooks and Square, and marketing.

WordPress Hosting and Management Service Provider ‘Flywheel’ Raises $4M

Nebraska: WordPress hosting and management service provider ‘Flywheel’ has raised $4 million in Series A in a round led by Kansas City’s Five Elms Capital.The round comes in over 18 months since the Nebraska-based startup raised $1.2 million in seed round from Linseed Capital.
