Deal4Loans Raises Funds From Ram Shriram, Neeraj Arora and others
Noida: Deal4Loans, loans marketplace, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Ram Shriram (One of the first investors in Google), Neeraj Arora (WhatsApp global business head), and Puru Vashishtha (investor). Founded by Rishi Mehra in 2009, this Noida-based startup is a B2C loans marketplace. It is a neutral marketplace that offers customers a completely independent loan comparison service. The startup’s technology helps acquire customers at a low cost that competitors, offline-marketing companies, and banks spend on the same.
RAIN Invests in Organic Products Marketplace ‘Organic Shop’
Jaipur: Organic Shop, marketplace for organic products, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Rajasthan Angel Investors Network (RAIN). The round also saw participation from three existing investors Mahavir Pratap Sharma, Kamal Kothari and HC Jain and two new investors namely Vivek Nathani and Yogesh Chaudhary. The raised funds will be deployed towards strengthening its team, adding more business lines, and boosting its technology platform.
MindYourFleet Raises Angel Round
Noida: MindYourFleet, SaaS for logistics provider, has raised an undisclosed amount funding in angel round. The investors remain unknown for now. The raised funds will be used to scale up infrastructure and talent acquisition process added co-founder of MindYourFleet Malvinder Singh Rikhy.
Founded by Malvinder Singh Rikhy and Jitender Arora in October 2014, Mind Your Fleet is a SaaS company providing an end-to-end online enterprise tool for ground transportation & logistics companies.
Edcast Secures $16M in a Round led by GE Asset Management
Bangalore: Edcast, an online learning platform, has raised $16 million in a round led by GE Asset Management. The round also saw participation from Japan’s SoftBank Capital, Cervin Ventures, Standford StartX Fund and Peneta Global.
Founded in 2013 by serial entrepreneur Karl Mehta, the company plans to reach about 250 million users in India over the next few years.Category Investments
