App-based Shuttle Service Provider Commut Raises $200k from 50K Ventures and Others
Hyderabad-based Shuttle service provider Commut has raised $200K from 50K ventures with participation from Red Bus co-founder Sudhakar Pasupunuri, who has joined the board of Commut.
Founded in 2015 by Prasanth Garapati, Hemanth Jonnalagadda and Sandeep Kachavarapu, Commut is an app-based minibus shuttle service for daily office commuters.
Commut enables the users to book a ride from a specific pickup to a specific drop point through its app. It currently has 35 minibuses running on 50 routes in Hyderabad. Read more.
GirnarSoft, the parent firm of auto portals CarDekho and BikeDekho, has made a strategic investment in car testing firm Advanced Structures India (ASI).The financial details of the investment have not been disclosed.
Commenting on the development, Amit Jain, Co-founder and CEO, GirnarSoft said, “Today there is just Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) tested numbers on mileage, and everyone quotes mileage numbers based on standard track conditions. ASI has better tools to test the car on actual Indian roads for mileage and all other key parameters important for customers.”
