Mumbai: Tarusa World, an online ethnic products store, has raised an undisclosed amount of seed funding from Mohit Gulati (Founder of Altius Ventures). The funds invested by Mohit has been made in his personal capacity.
The platform offers a range of accessories for personal and home products like clutches, dupattas, ethnic potlis, stoles, wraps, cushion covers, table mats etc. It also sells its products across a range of counters in Mumbai (The Bombay Store, Fuel, Mogra), Bangalore (Collage), and Delhi (Ole).
Wellness and beauty Startup Vanity Cube Gets Angel Round
Delhi: Vanity Cube, wellness & beauty service company, has raised $300,000 from Unicorn Ventures. The funds will be used in product expansion and brand building initiatives. Currently, its services are available in Mumbai and Delhi.
Social messaging platform Snapchat Adds $175M in Series F Round
California: Social messaging platform Snapchat has raised $175 million from Fidelity investment, bringing the total raised amount to $1.3 billion. Other investors of the company include Alibaba Group, Benchmark, General Catalyst Partners, Glade Brook Capital Partners, HDS Capital, Institutional Venture Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Lightspeed Venture Partners, York Capital Management and Yahoo.
The platform has over 100 million active users, claiming 8 billion views to its videos posted every day. Reportedly, Snapchat has maintained its $16 billion valuation.
