New Delhi-based LiveNutriFit, a preventive and integrative healthcare organization, with main focus on lifestyle modification, nutrition optimization and functional fitness, has raised seed round of funding. The round was led by Omaxe CEO Mohit Goel; Magppie Retail MD Vinod Jain; Haryana Olympic Association VP Sandeep Sangwan and Himalaya Publishing House director Anuj Pandey.
The startup aims to utilize the raised funding for brand building, customer acquisition and marketing purposes.
Founded in June 2015 by Gaurav Jalote and Dr Anjali Hooda Sangwan, who serves as its chief medical officer, LiveNutriFit intends to work with 50 nutritionists and diet specialists over the next few months,
Dr Anjali is MD in Internal Medicine from Lincoln Medical Center (affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College) New York, USA. She has done her Fellowship in Obesity Medicine and Clinical Nutrition from Geisinger Health System, Danville,USA. Gaurav, an alumnus of NIFT and IIM Lucknow, is the company’s CEO.
The company has launched an Android mobile app, that gives weight-loss related tips and online tools for life modification. The startup is committed to empowering people to eradicate Metabolic Diseases for longevity.
It competes with the likes of Obino, Truweight, FitCircle and Fitso among others. Some of these have already raised external funding for their and expansion.Category Investments News
