Bangalore-based LocalRamu, which is a mobile based aggregator for local service providers, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from three individual investors – two Bangalore based HNI and one from Singapore, as announced by the startup.
The raised capital will be used to build up the team, set up the office and develop its technology.
Commenting on the future strategy, Santosh Tyagi, Founder of the company, told iamwire, “We are launching in 15 categories such as car/bike services, plumbing, home cleaning, electrician, electronics repair, Puja/Pandit, beautician, interior design, water tanker and Water bottle delivery, photo graphers, laundry, ladies tailor, home tutor and more. And in each category we are registering two service provider on per 1km radius”. The startup consists of 10 members in its team.
The app is still in beta launch. It will go live by the 1st of March 2016. The company claims that its target is to get on board 10K service partners by June end. As of now, it has 100 service partners.
