Healthcare Startup Medinfi Raises fourth Angel Round from Genpact VP, Others

Bangalore-based Medinfi, a content mobile application which allows users to get verified and genuine information on doctors and hospitals, has raised a second round of angel funding. The round was led by investors like Rajnish Sinha, senior VP of Genpact and others. Existing investors have also participated in this round.

The startup allows users to search doctors, hospitals, and clinics near to their current location. Its Android mobile app automatically detects user location and helps them find nearby doctors, hospitals, and clinics. The app has more than 5,000 downloads so far. Around 7000 verified doctors and hospitals are listed on its platform.

It is currently available in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, and Ghaziabad. The company will be expanding in many more cities in coming months.

Talking about their future plans, Ravi Shankar Mishra, CEO of Medinfi said, “Medinfi will continue to empower users by offering trusted information for regular health check-ups.”

The raised funding will be used by the startup to launch its iOS app as well as expanding its operations to 13 Indian cities in coming months.

Last month, healthcare startup Care24 raised $4 million in Series A led by SAIF Partners and India Quotient.
