Healthcare Startup HealthKumbh Raises Seed Funding
The healthcare startup, HealthKumbh which was founded in 2014, has raised Rs 50 lakh ($73,000) in angel funding from Ahmedabad-based angel investor, Dipul Patel. The raised funding will be used for product development and also for tapping the local market in Ahmedabad and surrounding cities, as VCCircle reports. The startup also plans to raise Rs 10 crore ($1.49 million) in six to eight months.
HealthKumbh is an online platform for doctors to share content related to physical and mental well-being in the form of images, article and videos. It was founded by Maulik Darji.
GetVee Gets Funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Others
Matrimony app maker GetVee which runs assistant matrimony platform Wedlock and couples-only app Fym, has raised funding from existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners, Portea chairman K Ganesh) and CarDekho CEO Amit Jain. The new funding will be utilized for product development.
In November 2014, it had raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round of funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners.
Wedlock is an assistant matrimony app which enables singles (above the age of 24) to look for relevant matches on the basis of various preferences set by the user. The Fym app is targeted at people who are already in a relationship and is available for Android and iOS users.
GetVee was started by Nitin Gupta.
Notary Mama Raises Funding and Evolves in to a New Company
On-demand documentation and registration service provider, Notary Mama has raised angel level funding led by Nandish Domlur (founder and CEO of Protein Entertainment) and Amit Sandill (founding partner of Universal Developers and TopSource, an US-based software and consulting company).
With this funding, the startup has evolved into a new company called Docket Tech Solutions Pvt Ltd and plans to expand its services in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai. Bangalore-based company is planning to integrate its services overseas. It will also expand into Data Mining, Cloud Storage, Data Analytics and Reporting over a period of time.
Notary Mama was launched in September 2013 by Gireesh Challa.
TimeMyTask Raises Funding from Lead Angels
Mumbai-based Timemytask, on-demand home services startup, has raised funding from angel investor network Lead Angels to expand to more suburbs of Mumbai and launch the technology applications for both customers and cleaners.
Founded in 2014 by IIT-Bombay alumni Saurav Suman and Mohit Verma, the startup claims to have served 5000 customers and completed more than 25,000 hours of cleaning sessions. The company has two hubs in Mumbai and plan to grow aggressively in the next few quarters.
“This is the first round of external funding, we will use this round to expand to more suburbs of Mumbai, smoothen operations and launch the Technology Applications for both Customers and Taskers,” says team.
