Bangalore-based FeetApart, an employee engagement & wellness platform, has raised Angel round of funding from Nielsen Singapore’s executive, Vishal Bali with participation from other angels. The financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
The investment was facilitated by seedX, a platform that enables private placements.
Founded in 2014 by Abhishek Roy and Asrith G, FeetApart is an app-based social network that helps organisations enhance the fitness level of its employees. The company’s proprietary machine learning algorithms allow individuals to personalize their fitness regime, by suggesting activities, goals and challenges.
Commenting on the development, Asrith G said, “Organisations are investing a lot in wellness initiatives as it helps improve the culture, employee morale, productivity and reduces attrition and costs. Exercising and staying fit can combat stress which is prevalent in today’s population.”
