Recruitment App Jobick Raises Seed Funding from IAN’s Abhinav Mathur

Founded in July 2015 by Ravi Wadhwa, Mohit Mirwani and Jitendra Singh, Noida-based Talentiser Labs that runs recruitment app Jobick, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in seed round. The round was led by Indian Angel Network (IAN) member and angel investor Abhinav Mathur, who has made early stage investments in half dozen companies.

Jobick app is available for Android and iOS users. It is a job and talent search platform set to revolutionize the recruitment industry with its mobile based behavioral approach that connects candidate and recruiter without the need for a CV. It enables an integrated chat function that lets the candidate speak to the recruiters in real time once a match has been made.

Talentiser has many clients including Oyo Rooms, UrbanClap, Zopper, NDTV Digital, Mobikwik and Paytm. About five companies have done recruitment using the app so far.

Other startups which are operating in the space of online recruitment include TalentPad, MyNoticePeriod, MyRefers, Youth4Work, Aasaanjobs, Recruitee and Jobspire among others.
