Video-Medicine Based Platform Doctor Insta Raises $500,000 in Pre-Series A

Doctor Insta, India based healthcare technology company has received Pre-Series A funding of $500,000 from an entrepreneur-Angel Investor Rishi Parti and from BrahmaX Ventures, California based Venture Capital Firm. The company is also planning to raise a funding between $1-2 million for expansion.

Doctor Insta recently announced the launch of its services in India, and the platform aims to fix the current problems of accessibility, reliability and consistency in India’s $100 billion HealthCare Market and to bring quality Healthcare to everyone. It is trying to bridge the gap between doctors and patients by providing a common platform to them where they both can interact and discuss on a particular problem that the patient is going through. This might get a breakthrough in psychological and health problems, problems where the body checkup is not required.

Through the audio-visual platform, Doctors on Doctor Insta can look, listen and engage with the patients to diagnose and to offer treatment in 15-30 minutes, thus saving time. Elevating convenience for users, it has strategic alliances with Online Pharmacies and Diagnostic Labs to provide users solution for their healthcare needs. The services can be accessed through the company’s web portal and on Android app.

Its Co-Founder & CEO Amit Munjal, explains that the funds raised are being invested in the research and deployment of the product, the next round of funding we will be used for team expansion, marketing and promotional activities.
