After acquiring Zoyo in October, MagicTiger acquires yet another chat-based B2C app Instano.
Founded by Rajesh Ranjan, Rakesh Krishna and Vedant Agarwala, Instano facilitates on-demand delivery of services over chat. As per the deal, with this acquisition, the core Instano team – Rajesh Ranjan, Pradeep and Prem would be joining the team.
Commenting on the matter, Pratyush Prasanna, Co-founder of MagicTiger said, “Instano was one of our best competitors and had good focus on operations as well as quality. We realized, lots more could be done together than separately.”
Magictiger employs AI-tech to anticipate user behavior, predict purchases to help customers make better decisions. On MagicTiger, users can ask for various items like food, groceries, household services and even government services.
The delivery service is free of cost so, the users pay only for the items purchased. Currently the company is operational in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
This is MagicTiger’s second acquisition this year. Prior to acquiring Zoyo, it had acquired Bangalore based startup GoDeliver for an undisclosed amount.
