Hyderabad Based SaaS Startup eureQa Gets $600K in Seed Funding

Hyderabad-based eureQa, a test automation software-as-a-service (SaaS) startup, has raised a seed round of $600,000 in funding from Gabriel Investments, a Philadelphia based venture fund. As a part of the funding, Sashi Reddi, investment partner at Gabriel, will join eureQa’s board.

The company was founded in 2012 as a division of Tripod Technologies by Badri Nittoor and Bari Chittamuri. It offers a test automation platform that meets the demands of enterprise application developers catering to a mobile, social, and cloud based application world. The platform is built on the various open source components like Selenium WebDriver that improve on the old generation test automation products. The software is delivered as a subscription service and can enable users to automate their software testing without writing code.

“We are looking forward to working with Sashi Reddi, who is one of the foremost experts on software testing, to guide us in this fast evolving market,” said Badri Nittoor, co-founder/CEO of eureQa.
