Simon Sinek is an author, famous for introducing concepts like ‘The Golden Circle’ and ‘Start up with Why’. In this video Simon is trying to explain the concept of leadership and what makes that leader stand out from the crowd of common.
Simon takes up various examples including, the Wright Brothers, Martin Luther King and Apple. He asks “Why is Apple so innovative? Year after year, after year, they’re more innovative than all their competition. And yet, they’re just a computer company. They’re just like everyone else. They have the same access to the same talent, the same agencies, the same consultants, the same media. Then why is it that they seem to have something different?”
He emphasises on the fact that leaders inspire us, not authority; we follow people who lead, not because we have to- but because we choose to. The idea he puts forward is inspiring and most of all, it tells you ‘How to be a leader’
