Mumbai-based healthcare technology platform Welcome Cure has raised an amount of $6 million in Pre-Series A round of funding from a pool of investors. It has raised $1 million from few high net-worth individuals and $5 million from a media house.
Raised amount will be used for company’s expansion and in marketing strategies. Founded in 2014 by Dr. Jawahar J. Shah and Punit Desai, Welcome Cure is a one-stop destination that offers homeopathic treatment to people globally, regardless of language, location and time barriers.
It is a virtual clinic which offers modern facilities of online consultation via video chat, live chat, Skype, telephonic and email interactions with expert physicians worldwide, at consumer convenience. It also provides a facility to digitally store case histories and medical reports for lifetime. Along with this it also give periodic reminders and trackers, health tips and diet plans.
The company claims to have a network of over 100 doctors from across the globe, providing treatment for over 100 diseases through a digital medium. The company also offers health packages varying from three months to two years for their users.
Online Doctor’s Community Docplexus Raises $700K Funding from Uniqorn Ventures and ASP Consulting
Raised funding will be used by the company to improve the product, team building and expansion.
Founded in 2014 by Phanish Chandra, Docplexus is an online platform where doctors can interact with other healthcare professionals and make better informed decisions, securely collaborate on patient treatment, grow their practices and discover new career opportunities.
As the company claims it has a network more than 100,000 doctors on the platform. The company also has plans of building products like online CMEs, certificate courses, etc for doctors in coming six months. The service is also available for Android users. Its iOS app will be rolled out soon.
