FoodTech, Fintech and More for Startups at TiEcon Delhi 2015

TieConTiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) is a nonprofit Indian organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, and this time its annual flagship TiECon 2015 will be held at the Taj Palace, New Delhi on 16th and 17th October. This year the theme of the event is ‘The Balancing Act’. It is going to focus more on the ongoing trend of the startups around the Food Startups, Fintech, Tech startups helping in agriculture and others.

The speakers of the event include eminent people in the industry. In total there will be 25 speakers including, Amit Agarwal (VP & Country Manager, Amazon India); Arvind Singhal (Chairman, Technopak Advisors); Charles Kovess (Founder & CEO, Kovess International Pty Ltd); Kirthiga Reddy (Managing Director, Facebook India); Padmaja Ruparel (President, Indian Angel Network); Srikrishna Ramamoorthy (Partner, Unitus Seed Fund) and others.

The conference will be hosting a series of sessions/workshops which will cover different aspects such as fund raising, personal branding, attracting talent, building partnerships and others. The sessions will help in delivering tangible insights to the aspiring entrepreneurs. The event also gives entrepreneurs an opportunity to have a closed group interaction with Nikesh Arora – President and COO, Softbank or Amit Agarwal – MD, Amazon India.

It is also organising a Hackathon challenge wherein the developers will be required to create breakthrough digital technologies, products or business models across three categories. The interesting infuse on various talk points by eminent industry specialists make the event worthwhile a journey for the entrepreneurs.
