Gurgaon-based a mobile only real estate platform, Plabro has raised $350K in first round of funding led by Flipkart Founders Sachin Bansal & Binny Bansal, Sol Primero, Outbox Ventures, and angel investor Sangram Singh. With this new funding, the company aims to widen its footprint across country, and also plans to add data analytics as a key feature on the app to provide market insights to the agents and support the knowledge base of customers.
The startup’s app is available for Android and iOS users. Plabro is a communication app available for real estate agents, property dealers, brokers and other commercial enterprises who are looking to buy/sell/Rent/lease an available plot/flat/villa/room/house/land etc. The free mobile app is currently being used by about 3,000 brokers in Gurgaon and Noida.
The startup competes with other apps like Magicbricks and 99acres which are also providing a communication medium to real estate agents and property dealers.
In the tech led real estate space, mobile solutions provider for the real estate sector, Sunday Realty Solutions had secured $780K in August from a group of investors. Liases Foras, Squareyards, Housing.com, and Proptiger.com are other startups which also operating in real estate sector.
Apart from this, Flipkart Founders had also invested $1 million in a Bangalore based offline games startup, MadRat Games; $1 million in Chennai-based electric vehicle startup Ather.
