We will bring three 4G handsets this month (priced under $125) and before Diwali, we will have five more devices, priced well under $100,” Micromax CEO Vineet Taneja as per PTI. The company expects one-fourth of its smartphone sales volume to come from 4G devices by end of the year.

As per IDC April-June 2015 quarterly report, smartphone shipment grew 44% to 26.5 million unites from 18.4 million units a year ago. Samsung was the market leader with 23% share of the market followed by Micromax (11%) and Intex (11%).
