Housing.com has announced two acqui-hires with Plat, an online network for agents enabling them to share real estate inventories and requirements and BigBHK, a property management software (PMS) targeted at rental suppliers.
Earlier in August, Housing had acquired cloud-based CRM and ERP startup Homebuy360 for 2M, according to housing this is the next step by them to strengthen its supply side product portfolio.
With these acqui-hires, Housing.com acquires talent from premier institutions such as IIT Delhi and BITS Pilani including Chitransh Sahai, Gautam Prem Jain, Ayush Lodhi and Ankit Aggarwal from Plat and Ankur Kumar and Atul Yadav from BigBHK.

Housing took the first step towards organizing the broker market with the launch of ‘Agents App’, an app for real estate agents across the country. Since its launch, the App has received close to 10,000 downloads in less than one month.
With Plat, Housing.com is looking forward to strengthen its technology know-how to better cater to the needs of the agent community, and BigBHK will empower its partners to manage their property portfolios.
The Indian real estate brokerage market is estimated to be about $4 billion and relies on accurate and transparent information for it to function. Less than a week ago, Broker networking platform Plabro Networks had raised funding from Flipkart founders and others. Housing seems focused on developing and expanding its core business issues of streamlining supply portfolio.And this move could also signals for consolidation in the online real estate domain with housing aggressively wanting to take the lead.
