Google to Launch Two New Nexus Smartphones and a New Chromecast

Google sent out invitations to media professionals for a press event in San Francisco on September 29, where it is expected to unveil two new Nexus Smartphones and a Chromecast.

The two new Android smartphones as per a speculation will be called the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P and will be manufactured by LG and Huawaei, respectively, as per the droid-life report.

Google is also expected to launch its new Chromecast in the same press event. The new Chromecast will come in three colours. The company is also planning to improve on its WiFi and introduce Fast Play, a feature that will establish a quicker connection and play content more smoothly when a user is casting from the device. Chromecast Audio is also something Google is planning to enroll which would allow the device to plug into any speaker or audio system via an aux cord. Speculations are that it might also support Spotify, to allow it to  join Google Play Music, Netflix, Pandora and other subscription services already offered on Chromecast, as reported by Mashable.

The new Chromecast will also have a feature called ‘What’s On’, which will allow users to discover content such as movies and videos to stream from Chromecast-supported apps.

Company will unveil all the features of its new launches in its press event on 29th September. Till then there’ll be a lot of speculations floating around. The company is always on the run of inventing something new to upgrade its services, thereby ensuring an improved user experience and engagement of its customers.

In August 2015, Google announced its plans of launching an $50 Android Smartphone. Rajan Anandan, MD for Google Southeast Asia and India, said that it would be the ‘sweet spot’ in a price sensitive market like India.
