New Delhi based online platform FitMeIn has raised an amount of $100K in seed funding from Green House Ventures (GHV). The startup has also been selected for GHV’s 12 month acceleration programme.
Owned and operated by Pasta Lifestyle Solutions Pvt Ltd, FitMeIn provides access to multiple fitness studios for a monthly membership fee. Raised amount will be used in building startup’s technology and to expand its service to new geographical areas targeting top five metros including Mumbai and Bengaluru by the end of this year, as reported by TechCircle.
The company was founded by Nidhisha Varshney, Lalit Singh and Vishesh Goel in June 2015. Customers can use any fitness centre in their network for a monthly membership fee of Rs 2,499. The fee is converted in virtual currency called FitCoins, which the user can redeem for sessions he/she wants to attend. The startup’s facility is available in the Delhi/NCR region.
The company has tied up with 250 workout centres which provide facilities like zumba, pilates, aerial yoga, crossfit, bootcamp, indoor rock climbing, mixed martial arts and swimming among others. Its Android and iOS versions will be launched soon.
Its competitors include Classverse, FitnessPapa, Flexipass and others.
