Brigge Technologies, a social platform where people can discover and participate in activities happening in their areas of interest, has raised funding from The Chennai Angels. The investment amount is still undisclosed.
Brigge Technologies was founded in early 2015 by Prasanna Jagannathan, Sampath Jagannathan, and Murali Satagopan. It is a social platform where people can discover and participate in activities happening in their areas of interest. Apart from discovery, the company also lets people create activities that other like-minded folk can join.
Its users can also share updates and photos amongst each other. They can create “Spaces” to showcase their personal brand, organization, group or community. Brigge’s preliminary release went live on Android Play Store in mid September 2015.
“We are working harder than ever to bring more features like notifications, real time updates, activity metrics and leader boards etc. to the Android app and also get the ball rolling for iOS and web versions.”, said Sampath.
Apart from this, The Chennai Angels had also invested $1 million in Chennai-based SaaS product company, Cloudcherry Analytics Pvt.Ltd. in July, with participation from IDG Ventures India.
