Samsung Launches Galaxy A8 in India at a Price of Rs. 32,500

Samsung has released Galaxy A8, their latest device in A series with a price tag of Rs. 32,500 in India. The device comes with a a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, powered by Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core 1.8/1.3GHz processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal memory which can be expandable up to 128GB with microSD.

It features 16MP rear camera with LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera, 3050mAh battery, and its dimensions measures 158 x 76.8 x 5.9mm with 151 grams weight. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4 + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/ GLONASS, and it runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).

It has dual SIM slot and comes in Black, White and Gold colors that will be available through all retail and online channels across India.

Sony Launches Two New Smartphones – Xperia C5 Ultra and the Xperia M5

Sony has released two new smartphones, the Xperia C5 Ultra and the Xperia M5. The C5 Ultra has a 6-inch, 1920×1080 resolution IPS display, powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD card slot, LTE, 2930mAh battery, and supports Android 5.0 Lollipop.

The Xperia M5 has a 5-inch 1920×1080 resolution IPS panel, MediaTek Helio X10 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD card slot, 21.5 megapixel rear camera, 13 megapixel front facing camera, LTE, 2600mAh battery, and supports Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

Both smartphones will be available in dual SIM variants in select countries across emerging markets starting mid-August.
