Bengaluru-based startup ePoise which helps companies find and engage with the right talent, has raised over $500,000 led by Orios Venture Partners, Slideshare Co-founder Amit Ranjan and other investors. The company aims to utilize the raised funds for its new product ‘ePoise Job Interviews app’, which allows job seekers to find jobs and take interviews from their smartphones.
The startup was founded in 2012 by Sachin Agrawal and Bishan Singh, both alumni of London School of Business. In 2014, ePoise had raised an undisclosed amount in seed funding from friends and family members. The company’s app addresses various issues related to recruitments, like shortlisting right candidate for interviews and scheduling while avoiding wastage of time, effort and money.
The startup claims that in one year, it has initiated close to 20,000 interviews for job seekers and companies and its latest app has already clocked over 1,500 downloads.
Orios Venture Partners has made more than 35 seed and series A investments in Indian startups including Zo Rooms, Ola, and Pickingo among others.
