Pune based merchandise startup icustommadeit.com has raised $250,000 in its third round of funding, led by Aditya Pethe (MD, Waman Hari Pethe Jewellers), Vidisha Vaidya (Indirect Tax Head, Eaton India), Aparna Pittie (Director of a Big Four accounting firm) and Ravi Kant Sharma (Quality Lead; Chevron, India).
The startup is geared up to use the recently raised funding to improve its technology for a better user interface, and build an international presence.
Currently, the company offers an array of over 12000 products spread across 33 categories. It had raised $250,000 in its second round of funding in June 2015. The investment was led by Virendra Shahaney, a TV author and screen writer and Dr. Paresh Doshi. Prior to this, the company had raised $150,000 from Ms. Salma Chugh the MD of Vertex Group which is in to exports of home furnishings and also real estate management and infrastructure with a turnover of more than 500 crore.
Founded in May 2013 by Raj Iyer and Kundan Dhake, the company is an online marketplace to connect individuals looking for unique bespoke creations with talented curated professional creators from all over the world.
