eCommerce Marketing Startup Betaout Raises $500,000 in Seed Round

Behavioral marketing platform Betaout has raised $500,000 in seed round from a group of investors. It is a Techstars company  with offices in Chicago and Delhi.

Co-founded by Ankit Maheshwari, Raghubir Thakur, Arjun Maheshwari and Nandini Rathi, Betaout enables online businesses to increase conversions and personalize user engagement using real-time user persona and intent data. It is an all-in-one marketing personalization and engagement platform that build comprehensive user intelligence database and gives you tools to engage with users through email, on-site engagement and live-chat, sms and other channels.

The company represents an evolution from the traditional fragmented marketing tools, which trapped user information among themselves and don’t exchange information with others.This leaves marketers an incomplete picture of their customers and hence limit their ability to connect with customers on a personal level at scale.

The investors in current round include Amit Ranjan, Abhishek Rungta , Ankur Warikoo, Anupam Mittal , Ashish Kashyap, Ashish Tulsian, Badri Sanjeevi, Kunal Bahl, Girish Mathrubootham, Pallav Nadhani , Phanindra Sama,Rohit Bansal, Sam Yagan , Shan Krishnasamy, Sunil Goyal, Vaibhav Domkundwar, Vaibhav Kakkar, and Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

In May 2015, Nudgespot, which happens to be a potential competitor of Betaout had raised Rs 4 Crore in Seed Investment from Kae Capital.
