Customer Support Solutions Provider Freshdesk Acquires

Cloud-based customer support solution provider, Freshdesk has acquired out live video chat and co-browsing platform

The company was launched in 2011, and has crossed the 50,000-clients milestone already . It has 475 employees, has also launched Mobihelp, an in-app support for mobile apps. The software is designed for enterprises of all sizes across platforms ranging from phone and websites to emails and social media.The acquisition of, has  enabled Freshdesk  to provide video chat-based customer support to its clients who are spread across 145 countries. 1CLICK’s solution works on mobile too.

1CLICK’s co-browsing feature will also be available to Freshdesk’s clients. 1CLICK’s co-browsing tool allows customer support agents to interact with customers in real-time to resolve issues.

Commenting on the acquisition, Girish Mathrubootham, CEO Freshdesk, said, ”W​e developed Freshdesk to make it easy ​for brands to interact seamlessly w​ith their customers across any channel. Today we are delivering on that vision at full scale”.

He added, “The acquisition of 1CLICK strengthens our video, chat and co-­browsing capabilities and shows our commitment to evolving our products to meet the needs of our customers.” The company declined to share deal details, reports Yourstory.
