GetLook, a beauty service provider at home, has raised an undisclosed amount of angel investment.

The raised amount will be used for expansion to 6 more cities in next 2 months, for marketing purpose, building up the technology, and to arrange a professional GetLook kit for all beauticians.

Founded in April 2015 by Gaurav Maheshwari, Ronak Sharda and Vatsala Kothari, GetLook is an on-demand marketplace through which a user can order any beauty service at home. The app provides the user with an option to select a beautician of choice based on beautician’s profile, ratings, reviews, experience and price. It works on a revenue sharing model with freelance stylists to help them get appointments, as its strategy to acquire more vendors.

Currently, it is live in Bangalore and Mumbai and soon will be expanding to Pune, Jaipur & Ahmedabad in coming 4 weeks.

Bangalore based startup has around 6000 users and is doing 800+ appointments per month with an average ticket size of Rs. 1750. The company is profitable as claimed by its founders. Presently available for Android users, the company has plans of rolling out its iOS version soon. For future the company plans to include celebrity stylists on its platform, real time location based booking, and also enrolling services for men on their platform.

The company is competing big time with other on demand beauty services startups like Bulbul, Stayglad, VanityCube and so on, and other hyper local service startups like Urbanclap which offers at home beauticians among other services.
