Online Hiring Platform Bevy Raises Funding From Varun Agarwal And Others

Online hiring platform Bevy has secured a funding of undisclosed amount from a couple of angel investors, which includes its existing investor Varun Agarwal, Founder of Alma Mater and other angels.

Raised investment will be used for hiring experts in the fields of HR, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Development. It is also hiring data scientists from IITs to make its platform even more self-reliant in itself, in a sense that it matches users with more relevant jobs.

Bevy helps job seekers secure interviews with recruiters via its Smart Placement Process. It has a simple, unique and clean UI, based on modern web tech, and built mostly on the more popular flat UI concept. The interface is minimalistic, easy to use, and makes the entire process of getting to a recruiter via its platform easy.

The company is trying to fill in the huge time lag (usually in weeks) between when a company decides to hire someone and when the company actually starts the process of that particular hiring, as reported by The Tech Portal.

A user needs to make a profile on Bevy to start job search. Post profile creation, Bevy automatically matches the user’s profile to relevant recruiters via numerous scoring metrics which finally deliver the profile score. Once matched, the user can apply for relevant jobs and get to recruiters.

The Bangalore based startup was founded by Luke Walton in April 2014. It raised an investment of $692.5K in its seed round of funding from Varun Agarwal.
