Tech in Asia Raises $4M from SB ISAT, Others

Founded in 2010 by Willis Wee, Tech in Asia which is backed by Y-Combinator raised a total of $4M in the round led by SB ISAT Fund (Soft Bank and Indosat) with participation from the existing investors – East Ventures, Fenox Venture Capital and Simile Venture Partners.

Willis Wee, Founder and CEO of Tech in Asia stated, “This investment will be used to evolve Tech in Asia’s businesses so that we can better serve the needs of our community.”

Of late, the Singapore-based company has been is working on innovating its portal by adding new features like integrated Techlist, a platform for investors and founders to connect.

A press release stated that the team is growing big and is welcoming fresh talents to join the company to explore their career opportunities.

Previously, the company had raised $2.89Mn in Seed, Series A and (dual) Series B rounds from the investors including East Ventures, Fenox Venture Capital and Simile Venture Partners, reports Techcrunch.
