Chennai and Seattle-based startup Indix, that offers information about millions of online products to its clients, has raised $15 million in series B round from Nokia Growth Partners. The investors including Nexus Venture Partners, and Avalon Ventures also participated in the round. The company aims to utilize the new funds to grow its workforce, and expand sales and marketing of the products.
Indix was founded in October 2013 by Sanjay Parthasarathy, Rajesh Muppalla, Satya Kaliki, and Sridhar Venkatesh. The company’s tool is used by brands, retailers and developers to deliver the right product to the right customer at the right place. It has developed an intelligence platform that helps businesses analyze and visualize a vast amount of up-to-date product information.
Its analytics platform enables product managers to easily find information relating to pricing, promotions, reviews, competition and the market. Currently, the firm tracks more than 700 million products across over 7,000 categories.
Till date, the firm has raised a total capital of $30 million.
