Singapore-based fintech company Mesitis has raised $3 million in series A round of funding. The investment was made from private parties, with the majority being “private investors comprising former and current corporate CEOs/chairpersons and entrepreneurs from Southeast Asia,” confirmed Nilashuk Haldar, Mesitis’ Chief Product Officer.
Three of Mesitis team members have also contributed in the round, on the same terms as other investors. Commenting on the matter, Tanmai Sharma, Founder of Mesitis asserted, “Ι consider this as a great vote of confidence in us.”
The fund would be used by Mesitis to bolster its services and expand to newer avenues such as Hong Kong, Zurich, London, and Dubai. In addition to that, the company is on a look out for 10 new software developers in the coming months, reports TechinAsia.
The company provides two wealth management solutions named Canopy and Uptik. Canopy is a platform that aggregates and enables data visualization for high networth individuals. It collates and reports user’s financial data across all of his/her financial accounts and banks while Uptik is an economical asset management and investment platform for Accredited Investors.
