Hello Curry Acquires Technology Startup Fire42

Hyderabad-based Red Sprout Foods Pvt. Ltd. which runs under the brand, Hello Curry, a food on-demand startup has acquired city-based technology startup Fire42, in a stock cum cash deal. As part of the deal, Santosh Achari, Founder, Fire42 will join Hello Curry’s senior management team. This acquisition will also help Hello Curry expand Pan-India.

In April, the company had acquired online food ordering and delivery service Paratha Post in a stock cum cash deal. In Bengaluru, it has opened two outlets, and plans to add three more in the next few months. In march 2014, the firm had secured Rs 3 crore in seed funding from SRI Capital, and also in the process of raising Rs 50 crore in a Series-A round of funding in coming months. The company claims to get 800-1,000 orders a day, and it is growing at 25-30% month-on-month basis.

Fire42 was founded in 2012 by Santosh Achari, and Srinivasan Rangarajulu, its platform consists of a cloud-powered integrated software that provides operations, management, marketing, and analytics tools for restaurants. The tools include online ordering, inventory management, order management, admin, MIS, reports, trend tracking, CRM, loyalty, billing (POS) and more.
