Mumbai-based edutech startup Plancess eduSolutions has raised a funding of $2 million from Gogri Family of Aarti Group.
The new funding will be used to accelerate product development and expand distribution presence, according to DealCurry.
Plancess recently tied up with Wiley and LurnQ to provide comprehensive study material to JEE aspirants. It has also partnered with Samsung to bring in tablets with pre-loaded with Plancess study materials for IIT aspirants.
The company was founded by three IIT students in 2011, to provide better facilities for future IIT enthusiasts in form of video lectures delivered by top 100 rankers of IIT JEE. The company also provides fresh study materials and video tutorials to students preparing for boards, IIT JEE exam and other engineering entrance examinations.
Earlier this week, ‘Toppr’ another eduTech startup very similar to Plancess, raised a funding of $10 million. The Indian eduTech which is being valued at $8 billion has secured an investment of $15 million within the month.
