Google has acquired a startup known as ‘Timeful’ which is designed to make scheduling easier. The app analyses its users’ schedule and helps them achieve their specific goals and task deadlines.
Features of Timeful app will be integrated into Google apps. However, Timeful app will be available for download for the users but the team will entirely be working with new projects at Google.
The company had raised an investment of $7 million in Series A during May 2014 from A-Grade Investments, Pitango Venture Capital, Data Collective, Greylock Partners, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Khosla Ventures.
The team has built a system that helps users organise their lives by understanding their schedule, habits and needs. A user can tell Timeful that he/she needs to exercise thrice in a week or making a call to the bank and the app will make sure the task is done based on an understanding of both, user’s schedule and priorities. “Timeful’s technology can be applied across products like Inbox, Calendar and beyond, so we can do more of the work for you and let you focus on being creative, having fun and spending time with the people you care about,” said the Google in an official blog post.
