Times Internet Limited owned Gaana.com, one of the most popular music streaming services in India, has been reportedly hacked. Although no official statement has been out from the website as of yet, the site is currently down for maintenance.
The hacker who calls himself Mak Man, is Pakistan-based and claims to have access to the details of more than 10 million users registered on Gaana.com. The details include their email address, date of birth etc. All the information has been scraped and made available on a searchable database.
The verification of the hacker’s claims is yet to be done, reports TheNextWeb. Nevertheless, given the situation, it is advisable to all the users of Gaana.com to change their credentials as soon as possible.
