MeetUniv an Indian platform for finding universities and colleges abroad, has received a funding of close to $1 million (Rs 6 crores) from US-based Peesh Venture Capital.
The online platform offers college search and information startup for students looking at pursuing higher education abroad. The platform also provides personalized guidance and direct engagement with universities to its users.
Peesh Venture Capital had recently announced that it has earmarked a venture capital fund of $ 50 million (INR 301 crores) for early-stage investments in India, this being first of the series, as per NBW reports.
The Indian edtech scenario seems like a desired place by investors as earlier this month, other startups like Vedantu ($5M from Tiger Global and Accel Partners) and Topper ($10M Led by Fidelity Growth Partners) raised substantial funding.
