San Francisco-based startup ‘ZIRX’ which provides valet parking services on demand, has raised a funding of $30 million in series B round. The round of funding was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures.
The company currently operates in 4 cities and with the new funding, ZIRX will look to expand into new cities over the coming months, along with expanding the availability of its ZIRX Care services to all the markets it operates in, reports Techcrunch.
Valet services seem to be clicking as another American startup with similar activity ‘Luxe’ had recently raised a funding of $20 million.
The service works like this- ‘For a daily flat fee of $15, you get a valet agent who comes to pick up your car and find parking for you at one of its partner garages. While your car is parked, you can order additional services like a gas fill-up or a car wash at extra charges, and when you’re ready to leave, the car gets delivered to your requested location.’
The company had previously raised $6.4 million in series A last year. The ZIRX app is now available on iOS and Android.
