In order to increase the Quantity and Quality of the content uploaded on its site, LinkedIn has launched an app to help companies and their employees upload content in a more efficient way.
LinkedIn Elevate is the new tool for companies to curate content and push it to their employees to share on LinkedIn and Twitter.The app lets businesses equip employees with relevant content to share in a more authentic manner than company profiles, to help increase engagement and connections.
Elevate uses combined algorithmic recommendations from LinkedIn Pulse and Newsle and human curation to line up content, and gauges audience activity to suggest the best times for employees to share posts for maximum visibility. Moreover, the app offers analytics for employees, so they can see how much traction their shared content received, in the form of likes, comments and reshares.
LinkedIn Elevate is currently available only by invitation, but it will be launched all over for the masses on iOS, Android and Windows by third quarter of 2015.
